EDGE (Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies) is a green building standard and certification system developed by IFC for developing countries. It aims at promoting sustainable design and efficient use of energy, water, and materials during project construction and operation. The GBCI (Green Building Certification Inc.) is responsible for quality control and issuance of EDGE certificates.
